Loved the experience!!! Location is the best!!! C/Velazquez in the Salamanca section in the center of Madrid with easy access to Museums, shopping boutiques of Paseo de la Castellana and Serrano. The reception had great and knowledgeable people. Specially Manuel that help solve any needs and answer questions. From reservations to restaurants, appt. to hairdresser, hotel Mercedes van for airport. Room had great space- we had a Junior Suite with a great living space with desk area Bed was a very comfortable king with great large pillows. Breakfast was a buffet with all kinds of meats, cheeses, breads, fruits & sweets A variety of fresh juices Coffee, cappuccino, hot chocolate brought to your table. Nacho was excellent serving us whatever we needed with a great attitude. Great restaurants on sight like Goizeko restaurant that offers gourmet Basque cuisine. There is an English bar great for Happy Hour. On the 7th floor, is the Wellington Club, a private lounge area for certain rooms and suites with a terrace and stunning views of the city, 60-inch flat-screen TV, and a snack bar with unlimited food and drinks. Vicente is always ready to serve you and strike a conversation It’s a great place to stay, but the best was the staff. All were incredibly attentive. Enjoyed our stay and miss them when we leave!!!

Beautiful old-world charm hotel. Similar to a Ritz Carlton boutique hotel, maybe even better. Nicer than being in American 5 star, you didn't have everyone holding out their hand for tips. Obviously, the staff get paid by the establishment. So much more relaxing for a holiday. You only pay once, then it's totally up to you if you tip. And they were worth tipping. It was wonderful not to be stressed if you didn't have euros or not and not be shamed. In the US, it almost spoils your holiday. The hotel was elegant and in the most gorgeous part of Madrid. Everything you need is within walking distance. A selection of restaurants both high end and mid range. The only Asian restaurants they have are Japanese. It was very refreshing that there were mainly European restaurants. And who doesn't like Japanese food... the club floor was worth every extra cent paid. Relaxing with 1st class snacks, drinks and sevice. Breakfast till 12 pm!! Now that's civilised. Considering you eat dinner at around 10 pm, plenty of time for a late relaxing breakfast. I would stay there again if they fixed the mattress situation. Spain is officially the best country in the world, and this hotel is stunning

Executive double room - large size, very clean, super-comfortable bed, quiet with no street noise. Excellent room facilities (apart from only one coffee cup and one tea cup). Hotel location is ideal - 2 minutes walk to Retiro park, 5 minutes to nearest Metro station and plenty of good restaurants and bars nearby. Breakfast was in a lovely dining room, staff were terrific and the huge, varied buffet was high quality and very wide-ranging in content: ideal for all tastes.

The hotel is in a good area surrounded by beautiful buildings and leafy streets. There are restaurants and shops nearby. Our room was very comfortable and was nicely furnished with a large, modern en suite. Breakfast was excellent. We particularly enjoyed the selection of fresh fruit but there was a huge choice and lots of staff on hand to serve coffee etc.
